VERSHA MUNSHI-SOUTH

Versha is the mother of two Stamford Public Schools students who’ve attended Northeast, Scofield, Turn of River, and Westhill. Versha has her MS in Elementary Education and has has dedicated over twenty years of her career to education.

EXPERIENCE

Currently a leadership coach at TNTP, a national nonprofit that works with state education departments, as well as districts and schools

Leads school and district leaders to make complex decisions through research and best practices, collaborating with stakeholders, and centering community voice

Has experience as a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade teacher, working with multilingual learners and students with special needs

Worked as a school principal, leading a staff of over 50 employees and being accountable for curriculum implementation, teacher development, and student outcomes
